Privacy Notice

What this website collects, why it collects it, how long any of it is kept, and what you can require us to do about it.
1. Who is responsible
Jackie Kelley is the data controller for this website and decides why and how any information here is processed. Contact details are in section 10.
Jackie Kelley operates the site alone. Zondervan and HarperCollins Christian Publishing receive no information from it and bear no responsibility for its contents.
2. Information we do not collect
There is no account here, no newsletter, no contact form, and no payment processing. Your name, email address, postal address, and payment details are never requested, so none of them are stored.
3. What we collect, why, and on what basis

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about you. Google Advertising features, ad personalisation, and Google Signals are switched off.
4. Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, counts page views and records which pages are read. It sets the cookies listed below.

In the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and Switzerland, no analytics cookie is set until you give consent, and you will be asked. Elsewhere analytics operates by default and you may decline at any time. You can withdraw consent whenever you like, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it. See section 6.

5. Transfers outside your country
Google LLC and GitHub, Inc. are established in the United States, so information described above is processed there. For transfers from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland, both providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the EU-US and UK Data Privacy Framework. You may request details of these safeguards using section 10.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have information erased;
- restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive information you provided in a portable form;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out; and
- not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
No identifying details are collected here, so analytics data usually cannot be connected to a named individual. We may therefore ask you for enough information to locate the relevant records. If you cannot be identified at all, a request may be impossible to act on, and we will inform you if that is the case.
To exercise any of these rights, write to the address in section 10. You may also switch analytics off yourself at any time by declining the banner, clearing this site's data in your browser, or installing Google's opt-out browser add-on .
7. Complaints
If you believe your information has been handled unlawfully, you may complain to your supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner's Office; in the European Economic Area it is the authority for the country where you live or work. You may also raise the matter with us directly using the details in section 10, and we will investigate and respond.
8. Other websites
Links to booksellers, ticketing, mapping, and social media lead to services operated by other organisations under their own privacy notices. This notice does not apply once you leave, and we do not receive information about what you do there.
9. Children
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16, and we neither sell nor share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, write to the address in section 10 and it will be deleted.
10. Contact
Requests, questions, and complaints under this notice should be sent in writing to the data controller at hello@stayathomejackie.com. Please state clearly what you are asking for. We will respond within one month of receipt. If a request is complex, we may extend that period by up to two further months and will tell you within the first month if we do.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and anything material will be signposted here.
